Who's Shane McGeown?

Originally from Keady, I grew up with the same interests as any young fella, football and more football, until I fell for my Beautiful wife Suzie, I shifted location and now live in Larne with Suzie and our 2 lovely daughters.
My favourite things in life are chilling with my family or watching football or occasionally trying to play it too although that gets tougher as i get older!

Why Photography?

I guess photography was something I was interested in for a long time, I remember when I was younger buying disposable camera's to take pic's of my friends as we went out and had fun.
When my first daughter Eva was born I loved taking snaps of her, at the time I never thought of making a career out of photography but urged on by my wife I decided to take the next step and start my own business.

My Style?

I guess like most photographers you have to be able to evolve and move with the times, Today wedding photography has moved on from the plain old formal shoots.
Most weddings these days consist of a mix between reportage where the bride and groom can enjoy their day while the photographer works quietly in the background capturing the days big events but in all honesty most couples still also want some formal shots of their close family.

One thing i always like to tell people is that its  their wedding day, so relax and enjoy it, Its the best day of their lives, if the couple are relaxed then the photo's will look great.
